DAY 1: VIETNAM – TAIPEI (Dinner)
10:30 AM – Our car and tour guide will pick you up at the meeting point and transfer you to Noi Bai International Airport. You will complete check-in procedures for flight VJ departing to Taipei at 14:15. Lunch at the airport is at your own expense.
14:15 PM – Depart on a direct VJ flight from Hanoi to Taipei, the capital of Taiwan. After completing immigration and customs procedures at Taoyuan Airport, the tour guide will welcome you and take you for dinner, then check in to your 3-star hotel in Taipei.
Overnight in Taipei.
DAY 2: TAIPEI – TAICHUNG (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Morning: After breakfast and hotel check-out, depart to visit Yangmingshan National Park, one of Taiwan’s eight major national parks. The area is known for its unique volcanic terrain, peaceful valleys, and rich biodiversity. A highlight is the Floral Clock, which features flowing water and plays music every hour.
Continue to Yehliu Geopark, famous for its oddly shaped rock formations and fossil relics.
Next, visit Shifen Old Street, where you can write your wishes on sky lanterns and release them. Then explore the beautiful Shifen Waterfall, surrounded by traditional villages and enchanting forest scenery.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: Visit the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, built to honor the former President and Generalissimo during the war against Japan.
Afterwards, continue to Taichung, enjoy dinner, and check in to the hotel.
Evening: Explore Fengjia Night Market, Taiwan’s largest and most vibrant night market.
Overnight in Taichung.
DAY 3: TAICHUNG – KAOHSIUNG (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Morning: Breakfast at the hotel. Then transfer to the pier for a scenic boat ride on Sun Moon Lake, the largest natural lake in Taiwan, located in Nantou County. Visit Wenwu Temple, which worships Confucius (Wen) and Guan Gong (Wu), situated on the lake’s northern shore.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: Visit Chung Tai Chan Monastery, founded due to the growing number of disciples. The idea was initiated in 1992 and, after 10 years of planning and construction, the temple was inaugurated on September 1, 2001, marking a new chapter for Buddhism in Taiwan.
Visit a specialty store selling Reishi mushrooms.
Evening: Transfer to Kaohsiung for dinner. Explore Liuhe Night Market, stretching over 300 meters along Liuhe Street. At night, it comes alive with colorful lights and vibrant stalls selling food, clothes, and local products.
Free shopping time at UNIQLO store.
Overnight in Kaohsiung.
DAY 4: KAOHSIUNG – TAIPEI (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Morning: After breakfast and hotel check-out, visit Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum, home to the tallest Buddha statue in the world and a significant religious site for Buddhists.
Shop at Taiwan specialty stores, where you can find pineapple cakes, mung bean cakes, matcha sweets, and more.
Continue to Taiwan’s largest jewelry center.
Then visit Lotus Pond (Lienchi Lake) – a picturesque area known for its lotus flowers and the reflection of the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas on the water. The site is among the “Eight Scenic Spots of Fengshan” and is often described as a place of dreamy lotus fragrance and shimmering water.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: Visit a local tea plantation, where you can sample Taiwan’s famous Oolong Tea.
Afterwards, return to Taipei.
Evening: Enjoy a traditional Shabu Shabu hot pot dinner.
Free time to explore Shilin Night Market and Ximending Walking Street.
Overnight in a 3-star hotel in Taipei.
DAY 5: TAIPEI – HANOI (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch)
Morning: After breakfast, visit Longshan Temple, the oldest temple in Taiwan with over 300 years of history.
Stop by Taipei 101, one of the tallest buildings in the world (entrance fee to the 89th floor not included). Designed by architect C.Y. Lee, it is a landmark of modern Taiwan. Free time to shop in the surrounding luxury mall area, which features top international brands.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: Visit the Lucky Gem Stone Center, followed by shopping for duty-free items and feng shui Pixiu stone jewelry.
Transfer to the airport for your 19:00 flight back to Hanoi. Dinner is at your own expense at the airport.
21:10 – Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport. End of tour. Thank you and see you again!
