Itinerary
DAY 1: VIETNAM – TAIPEI (Dinner)
10:30 – Our car and tour guide will pick you up at the designated meeting point and transfer you to Noi Bai International Airport. You will check in for flight VJ departing to Taipei at 14:15. Lunch at the airport is at your own expense.
14:15 – Take the direct VJ flight from Hanoi to Taipei, the capital of Taiwan. After immigration and customs procedures at Taoyuan Airport, the tour guide will pick you up, take you to dinner and check in at a 3-star hotel in Taipei.
Overnight in Taipei.
DAY 2: TAIPEI – TAICHUNG (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Morning: After breakfast and check-out, the group departs to visit Yangmingshan National Park – one of Taiwan’s eight national parks, known for its volcanic terrain, serene valleys, and diverse ecosystems. A unique highlight is the floral clock, surrounded by flowing water and hourly music.
Continue to Yehliu Geopark, famous for its bizarrely shaped rocks and historic fossil remains.
Visit Shifen Old Street, where you can release sky lanterns with your personal wishes. Then visit the beautiful Shifen Waterfall, surrounded by traditional villages and mesmerizing forest landscapes.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: Visit the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, a historic site honoring General Chiang Kai-shek, former President and Commander-in-Chief.
Continue traveling to Taichung for dinner and hotel check-in.
Evening: Visit the famous Fengjia Night Market, Taiwan’s largest and most vibrant night market.
Overnight in Taichung.
DAY 3: TAICHUNG – KAOHSIUNG (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Morning: After breakfast, transfer to the pier for a boat ride on Sun Moon Lake – the largest natural lake in Taiwan. Visit Wenwu Temple, which honors Confucius and Guan Yu, located on the lake’s northern shore.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: Visit Chung Tai Chan Monastery, a magnificent Buddhist temple founded due to the increasing number of disciples. Construction began in 1992 and was completed in 2001.
Visit a Lingzhi (Reishi) mushroom specialty store.
Evening: Travel to Kaohsiung for dinner.
Explore the vibrant Liuhe Night Market, filled with local foods and shopping stalls. Enjoy free time at the UNIQLO store.
Overnight in Kaohsiung.
DAY 4: KAOHSIUNG – TAIPEI (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Morning: After breakfast and hotel check-out, visit Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum, home to the world’s tallest Buddha statue.
Shop for Taiwanese specialties such as pineapple cakes, green bean cakes, and matcha cakes.
Visit Taiwan’s largest jewelry center.
Stop by Lotus Pond (Lienchi Lake), known for its blooming lotus flowers and the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas reflecting on the water.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: Visit a tea farm and taste famous Taiwanese Oolong Tea, then drive back to Taipei.
Evening: Enjoy a Shabu Shabu hot pot dinner.
Free time to explore Shilin Night Market, Ximending Walking Street.
Overnight in Taipei.
DAY 5: TAIPEI – HANOI (Breakfast, Lunch)
Morning: After breakfast, visit Longshan Temple, the oldest temple in Taiwan with over 300 years of history.
Visit the famous Taipei 101 Tower (ticket to 89th floor not included), a landmark of Taiwan designed by architect C.Y. Lee. Free time for high-end shopping in the commercial district.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: Visit Lucky Gem Stone Center, then shop for tax-free goods and Pixiu (feng shui stone) jewelry.
Transfer to the airport for flight back to Hanoi at 19:00. Dinner at the airport at your own expense.
21:10 – Arrival at Noi Bai Airport. The tour ends. Thank you and see you again!
