Itinerary
DAY 1: VIETNAM – TAIPEI (Meal: Dinner)
10:30 AM: The bus and tour guide pick up guests at the meeting point and depart to Noi Bai International Airport. Guests check in for the VJ flight departing to Taipei at 2:15 PM. Guests have lunch on their own at the airport.
2:15 PM: Take the direct flight VJ from Hanoi to Taipei, the capital of Taiwan. After completing immigration procedures at Taoyuan Airport, the tour guide will welcome the group and take them for dinner and check-in at a 3-star hotel in Taipei.
DAY 2: TAIPEI – TAICHUNG (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Morning: After breakfast and hotel check-out, the group departs for Yangmingshan National Park, one of Taiwan’s eight major national parks, known for its volcanic terrain, peaceful valleys, and diverse flora and fauna. The park features a unique floral clock with water flowing in a circular path and music playing every hour.
Next, visit Yehliu Geopark, famous for its uniquely shaped rocks and valuable fossil relics. Then proceed to Shifen Old Street to release sky lanterns with personal wishes. Afterward, visit Shifen Waterfall, a must-see destination for nature lovers. Along forest trails, visitors can explore ancient villages, admire the cascading waterfalls, and enjoy the breathtaking mountain scenery.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: Visit the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, dedicated to the Generalissimo who held supreme command during the anti-Japanese war. Then travel to Taichung for dinner and hotel check-in.
Evening: Visit Fengjia Night Market, the largest night market in Taiwan, famous for its lively atmosphere. Overnight in Taichung.
DAY 3: TAICHUNG – KAOHSIUNG (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Morning: After breakfast at the hotel, the bus takes the group to the pier for a boat trip on Sun Moon Lake, the largest natural lake in Taiwan, located in Nantou County, central Taiwan. Visit Wenwu Temple, dedicated to Confucius (Wen Temple) and Guan Gong (Wu Temple), situated on the northern shore of the lake.
Lunch at a restaurant.
Then visit Chung Tai Chan Monastery. Founded in 1987 by Venerable Master Wei Chueh, the monastery serves as a place of study for disciples. Due to increasing numbers, the Linquan Temple became insufficient, leading to the construction of Chung Tai Chan Monastery, completed in 2001, marking a new era of Buddhist propagation in Taiwan. The group will also visit a specialty Lingzhi mushroom store.
Evening: Transfer to Kaohsiung for dinner. Free time to explore Liuhe Night Market, stretching over 300 meters along Liuhe Street. At night, it becomes a bustling spot with colorful lights, clothing stalls, and delicious food vendors. Guests can also shop freely at the UNIQLO store. Overnight in Kaohsiung.
DAY 4: KAOHSIUNG – TAIPEI (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Morning: After breakfast and hotel check-out, visit Fo Guang Shan Monastery, home to the world’s tallest Buddha statue, a significant Buddhist pilgrimage site. Shopping at a specialty Taiwanese product store (pineapple cakes, mung bean cakes, matcha cakes, etc.). Then visit the largest gold and gemstone center in Taiwan located in Kaohsiung.
Next, visit Lianchi Lake, known for its lotus flowers and recognized as one of the eight famous scenic spots of Fengshan during the Qing Dynasty, nicknamed “Fragrant Lotus Dream Water.” The lake is half the size of the nearby Ping Mountain range, with the Longhu Pagoda leaning over the water, also known as “Lian Dam’s Evening Sun.”
Lunch at a restaurant.
Afternoon: Visit a tea garden to taste the region’s famous Oolong tea. Then depart for Taipei.
Evening: Enjoy a Shabu hot pot dinner. Free time to explore and shop at Shilin Night Market and Ximending pedestrian street. Overnight at a 3-star hotel in Taipei.
DAY 5: TAIPEI – HANOI (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch)
Morning: After breakfast, visit Longshan Temple, the oldest temple in Taiwan with over 300 years of history.
Taipei 101 Tower: The tallest building in Taiwan with 101 floors (optional ticket to the 89th floor). Designed with great dedication by architect C.Y. Lee. Then guests have free time for shopping in this bustling commercial area featuring many high-end brands from around the world.
Lunch at a restaurant.
Afternoon: Visit Lucky Gem Stone Center. Shopping at the duty-free store featuring Feng Shui products, including Pixiu stone. Then head to the airport for check-in on the flight departing for Hanoi at 7:00 PM. Dinner on your own at the airport.
9:10 PM: Arrive at Noi Bai Airport. Bus picks up guests and transfers back to Hanoi. Farewell and end of the tour.
